Established in 1913, this Donald Ross designed golf course has been highly touted and one of the best in North Carolina. Similar to Pinehurst many greens are crowned so approaches need to be accurate and have staying power. The front nine has elevated tees and greens and a few blind shots mixed in. The back nine is more open and forgiving but still challenging. As opposed to most courses the Red Tees are the Tips at 6600 yards
