Hockley Valley Resort is a ski destination in winter, golf in the summer. The course is on the short side but rewards strategy over brute strength. Par threes feature considerable elevation change, making club selection paramount. There are no sand bunkers on the course, but deep grassy swales around most greens are just as challenging.
